Climate Change: A Business Opportunity - Warrnambool
Climate Change is taking centre stage in our newspapers, our boardrooms and in public debate across the globe.
Regional Victoria is already experiencing the direct results of a changing climate and the need to act now on mitigation, as well as adaptation, is paramount.
To help understand the science, impacts, government and business response to this global issue, as well as the opportunities they present, EPA Victoria and Wannon Water are hosting this Carbon Innovators Network event.
The event includes a keynote address from Cheryl Batagol, EPA's Chairman, who will outline how EPA can assist local industry face the challenges of climate change.
Representatives from local businesses will give a regional perspective on climate change impacts and how we can respond.
There will also be networking opportunities to share your carbon management experiences with other businesses in the region.
